BulBul: Where Art Meets Sustainable Fashion

In 2022, Andleeb Rana founded BulBul, driven by a heartfelt desire to fill a noticeable void in the fashion world—specifically, the need for Pakistani craft-based eco-fashion. What began as a personal sartorial vision has blossomed into a powerhouse of artisanal design, celebrated for its commitment to sustainability, craft preservation, functionality, and effortless, offbeat style.
BulBul stands at the forefront of Pakistan's 'slow fashion' movement, seamlessly blending eco-friendly, handcrafted, recycled, and upcycled materials. Each piece minimizes waste and reduces environmental impact while honoring the human touch and skill of local artisans. The result? Relaxed, free-size, unisex, and contemporary silhouettes that exude style and substance.
Explore our collection of bohemian kimono jackets, funky boleros, vibrant button-down shirts, easy-breezy kurta-kaftans, and billowy tunics. These pieces are meticulously handcrafted using unique and exquisite crafts such as Kantha, Khaees, Block-Print, Ajrakh, Chunri, and Tie-Dye, each rooted in different regions of Pakistan.
BulBul’s collaboration with artisans across the country breathes new life into traditional crafts and textiles, infusing them with a contemporary pop-cultural edge. The result is eclectic, timeless, and fashion-forward pieces that are making waves and captivating fashion enthusiasts worldwide.
Our durable, handcrafted objets d'art are primarily limited-edition pieces that proffer attention-grabbing individuality and an opportunity to make bold fashion statements while adhering to the ethos of climate-friendly sustainability. BulBul encourages its valuable customers to ‘choose well, buy less, and make it last.’
